Support Australian farmers by comparing your electricity bill

Bright Spark Power is proud to be announcing a new fundraising initiative for Australian Farmers with a new way for people to donate to Rural Aid Australia. Read more and track our progress below.

Simply send a recent electricity bill for comparison, and Bright Spark Power will donate $5 or ($10 for business premises) to the Rural Aid Fundraising campaign. All home and business premises electricity bills in NSW or South-East Queensland (Energex region) are eligible to contribute a donation.

Bright Spark Power have kicked off with a $500 fundraising starter and will match each $500 thats raised from residents and business conducting an electricity comparison or switching electricity. We are first aiming to raise $5,000.

Reaching our first $5,000 target could go a small way to help an Australian Farming Family. The donation:

  • could help purchase over a dozen large hay bales for hungry livestock

  • give 50 farming families prepaid visa cards to use in their local communities, which also helps the local economy.

  • provide 5 farming families with financial assistance to help pay bills.

  • could help provide counselling sessions for 100 farmers.

Many Aussies look for ways to support Australian Farmers. Now, just by submitting an electricity bill for comparison, you can support Rural Aid Australia to provide critical support including water, hay, financial and counselling assistance to help farmers who endure drought, flood and fire.

Just by sending an eligible electricity bill, Rural Aid will receive another donation from us. Submit a picture of the electricity bill (take a photo or a screenshot) or upload a PDF electricity bill at the website. However if you DO choose to join a Bright Spark Power electricity plan we will increase the Rural Aid donation amount to $25.

Submit your comparison to support the Rural Aid Fundraiser or Switch your electricity.
